Slime now thinks he can prove that certain people have broken the law. (Yawn, this is following a pattern, right? Remember when Slime and his dodgy bedfellows Wizz and the Glumbo thought that a wee prank letter fell into the area of serious crime?) But anyway, this one is stretching credulity even further.

First some background to this. A few of us were falsely reported to various police forces by a former director of Quaeras-UK, G**** Mac*****, I*** R***** (then CEO of Quaeras-UK) and a few of their forum members, one most likely being Scooby Doo, the self-proclaimed moral conscience of Quaeras-UK's forum, who has a history of making false claims to police forces and C**** H****** who works for C*****.

The people that were falsely reported to the police wanted to know where the police had got their addresses from, the only possible chance of that happening would have been through the Quaeras-UK contact list.

Er, no, all three culprits collared by the law and given due cautions for their disgusting, childish and threatening behaviour, including offences such as gross indecency, Slime (aka Elvis), Wizz and Glum, had addresses in the public domain at that time, with a little bit of Google research. I have no idea whether they were Quaeras-UK members, but I suspect not as the one thing they all had in common was being cheapskate dead obvious sock-puppets like Ryder and Evil-C who would ride on a charity forum pretending to be dying of cancer to make some crappy point without ever wanting to pay their charity dues. A$$holes!

Clive doesn't represent Carers, so he isn't in a position to do that. Carers have voted with their feet and left him all on his own. He only speaks for himself now.

Sure, we were all holding our breath today, hoping that Clive Arnold wouldn't make a total arsehole of himself again, but when Clive says that he won't, we all know by now that means he really will, so it wasn't long before he started trying to dig a hole for himself by using a little boy's death to attack his selected targets: other carers as usual for reasons known best to him:

Probably not. We have no hard evidence either way. Indeed, he claims (see above) that he cant live without animals; though this may actually refer to his legendary hamburger habit. Yes, he may have killed a couple of goldfish by not changing their water often enough; but to be fair; the jury is out on that one. Has he fried a helpless kitten in a microwave oven? Definitely not. Well, not as far as we know.

Has he ever pursued fetching young sheep across the fells in hot lust wearing his wellies and n'owt else? Is he a ferret fancier? We just don't know - to say otherwise would be mere speculation. But would I trust him to look after my pet labradoodle whilst away for a few months hob-nobbing with the cannibal savages of Namibia? Well certainly not. 'Nuff said.

Clive Arnold: DLA fraud allegations

Clive Arnold, who has spent much of the Winter shoveling snow to get to his local branch of McDonalds, apparently regards himself as a disabled person, despite demonstrating the ability to not just be a carer 24/7 (by his own account) but also posting 2,000+ emails a year and setting up ten new websites to replace the ones taken out for being abusive to other carers. With that kind of productivity, it's truly amazing that he hasn't been recruited to solve the worlds major economic problems.

If someone tells me they are "milking" the DLA benefit I will have no hesitation in reporting them (as I have done before now)

A neighbour told me he was claiming DLA even though he was fit, he admitted it whilst talking, are you saying I shouldn't have reported him?

My brother actually thanked me for giving him the idea to "use the system" (due to the fact my wife was/is disabled and claiming DLA, he was fit as a fiddle) I had no problems with reporting him either, and telling him it was me, you see I find the term "grassing" annoying, it infers that reporting someone who is doing wrong worse than the actual crime being commited, strange world!!!

It is extremely annoying to think that benefit cheats can get away with it, as we all know that some must do, BUT unless someone actually tells you that they are fiddling the system - in which case I would be first in the queue to report them!!

Exactly my point, I have only reported people who have told me that they are cheating the system and I have no regrets at all AND I would have no problem doing it again, if someone tells me they are abusing the system I will report them and I will tell them to their face before doing so.
You cannot say "it's not right taking benefits from disabled people" and doing anything when you find out absolutely and categorically that they are cheating DLA, it's hard enough for genuine people to get DLA so why stand by and allow people to abuse the system?

I know accusing innocent people is wrong, I would never do it, but not reporting the guity is worse to me, I will always tell someone what I think of them or intend to do be it on the internet or in real life, I can't be bothered to be 2 faced.

We have become scared of reprisals for telling the truth, that is very wrong.
If someone reports someone to cause trouble then they should be accountable too, though if the newspapers are right it is now impossible to follow someone fraudulently claiming DLA in case it interferes with their human rights...I have had this response from the fraudline (someone working while claiming DLA and doing heavy building work, he loved bragging about conning you see)

That attitude leaves the system open to even more abuse I'm afraid, doctors can and do abuse the system on behalf of others (to allow people they know to claim DLA I mean) a big problem with fraud will never be looked into because it would be classed as "politically incorrect"

Clive Arnold needs to get a few facts straight his board is not the busiest carers site. There are at least 3 others with more members that get more hits.

The reason you were excluded from the government consultation is your constant aggressive tactics and the fact that your organisation has very few active members. Therefore, you would be even less representative of carers than Carers UK and the PRTC. What gives you the right to speak for carers?

Yes the CEO of CarersUK and PRTC refused to meet with you. Can you blame them? When they knew all they would get would be abuse and accusations, instead of somebody with the sense to know that they need to work with people to get anywhere.

Clive Arnold's tactics dont seem to have won him many friends or given him much influence. He only has four people left posting actively on his forum - the rest simply voted with their feet. In fact we understand that most people now refuse to even bother to answer his demanding emails, with their endless lists of questions, from MPs to other carers organisations.

We have read this post from a prominent carers activist.
LYNNE ACKERS, 54, MERSEYSIDE, UK - who goes under the name of Pixie.
This is a very old photograph, since then she has put on a few stone and the roots are showing we fear!

I run a carers forum. Many of the members on my forum were members of Facebook so I thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad that I did as it has changed mine and my families lives in such a fantastic way by bringing us all together again.

The site has helped with renewing my relationship with my eldest daughter. We haven't spoken for almost 10 years. During that time she has had a daughter I had never met who is now nine and a half.

It has been such an emotional time for us all and many tears have flowed. Tears of happiness at our renewed relationship as well as tears of sadness for the lost years.

We sympathise deeply - it is really hard work to stay in contact with close relatives, isn't it? I mean, to forget one birthday is forgetfulness, to forget ten in a row is pretty random. Obviously an Aquarius then!
In our experience, little things like remembering your children's birthdays and not spending all your time on the computer trying to defend Clive Arnold helps a lot. No tears for all that wasted time though? But still defending the indefensible.... and willing to make a protracted attack on another website that dares to be critical of her best online buddy?

Crawling to charities

Clive Arnold appears to have an aversion to carers charities - well, other charities that is; he did try to set one up by himself but fortunately he was turned down by the Charities Commission. This could explain this outburst, and many similar ones::

I wouldn't trust a board that was run by people that are untrustworthy and the people running XXXX have proved that they don't deserve anyone's trust.

In fact I'd go so far as to say I'll try my best to deter as many Carers as possible to avoid taking part because of the involvement of charities and the crawling to charities by this particular group.

Untrustworthiness is an odd concept coming from a man who was still taking paypal donations to his unregistered "true Charity" for at least a year after his application was turned down flat.

Rather oddly, he decided to publish it on his own new forum requesting comments from his three members. The debate that followed was exquisite - clearly all four smelled a rat , but none of them quite saw the point of the exercise at all, which was simply to get Clive Arnold to phone the number. Merely by doing so, he was expressing an interest, and therefore throwing four years hard work aside, losing all credibility, and exposing ten thousand posts as a complete sham.

Is Clive Arnold a serial bully?

Now, quite apart from the fact that Arnold is wrong on the facts, (for example nowhere does the blog suggest that "carers are charity cases") he simply has no excuse at all for this attack on someone he has never met. This is the classic Clive way of trying to wreck a perfectly reasonable first blog by attacking an elected carer's representative whom he does not know and has never met. This is the real reason why so many carers are prepared to go to such lengths to expose and confront Clive Arnold - he is a vexatious serial troll who has put many carers off using the internet.

If you used this kind of language to someones as you passed them in the street or at a meeting you would probably get hit, very hard. The only arrogance in this exchange is Clive himself - full of puffed up rage and fury against other carers simply because they support a democratic charity that he dislikes.

My conclusion? Clive Arnold is a middle-aged playground bully hiding behind his flickering screen and working out his fantasies of dominance. His time is up ... the Internet has no place for dinosaurs.

OK Carers - it is a matter of public concern when the "owner and founder" of UKcarers, an organisation once trumpeted as the "biggest independent board for carers" is caught out bullying carers and then blatantly lying about it.
