OK Carers started about ten years ago as an alternative, tongue in cheek and often satirical forum for experienced (sometimes life-long) unpaid carers who wanted to have a laugh together. Only a carer knows how a carer feels, and sometimes it's fun to feel free to let off steam in a non-politically correct kind of way amongst people of like mind.
